In the heart of Dealu Mare, among sun-drenched rolling hills, lie the Budureasca vineyards — a historic land deeply rooted in Romania’s winemaking heritage. Archaeological discoveries in the area reveal a viticultural tradition dating back to Dacian times, a legacy carried forward today through modern craftsmanship and the dedication of the people behind each bottle. Budureasca wines are celebrated for their distinctive quality, seamlessly blending history with contemporary elegance. This exceptional Cuvée- NOBLE FIVE- brings together FIVE noble grape varieties, each vinified in Romanian and French oak barrels to achieve harmony, balance, and structure. The final blend is the result of meticulous artistry, as the winemaker- Stephen Donnelly, a native Englishman who studied winemaking in California – carefully refines the interplay between the varieties. The wine reveals an elegant structure with layered notes of red and black fruits, beautifully accented by hints of cinnamon and clove.
