Aligoté is a defining variety of the Danube Delta, a region often called “The Land of Aligoté.” Sarica Niculițel is home to the largest Aligoté vineyard in Romania and among the most significant worldwide, internationally recognized for its premium expressions of the grape. Shaped by Dobrogea’s generous sun and cooling Danube and Black Sea influences, the wine reveals vibrant freshness and a distinctive aromatic profile. Notes of green apple, citrus, and ripe white fruits intertwine with delicate hints of freshly cut grass, apricot, grapefruit, warm wood, and subtle chicory.
